Earlier this week the Sky+ app, which allows subscribers to control their Sky+ HD box at home and on the go, received an update that caused its main features to stop working, and now two days on the issues continue. This is despite Sky's attempt at a temporary fix by allowing customers to rollback their app to a previous version, with the problems continuing regardless of which version is being used.

Earlier this morning the Sky Help Team tweeted that they were "still working hard to fix the latest Sky+ app update ASAP," but at the time of writing no fix has been issued and the app has even been pulled for the iTunes app store. Considering how the Sky+ app is one of the main draws for its TV service, this is a fairly embarrassing blow. Hopefully the problem will be sorted out sooner rather than later, but we'll keep you updated on the situation as it develops.

Sometimes, all you want to do is make a call and send a text, so Microsoft's latest Nokia handset is going back to basics. The new Nokia 105 will offer a no-frills experience similar to its predecessor, offering 15 hours of talk time, the ability to store 2000 contacts, FM radio, a 3.5" jack for headphones, a few basic apps like calender and calculator, and two classic games (with Snake naturally being one of them.) There's even a built-in flashlight as well.

With it being a fairly basic handset, it will only feature 2G connectivity, meaning no WiFi functionality, but as long as classic ringtones such as the Kick Ringtone are included we'll be happy. The new Nokia 105 will be going on sale later this month, with the current price being stated as $20. Unlimited Calls, Texts & Data* on Vectone PAYG is currently £10 a month

Here's yet another highlight for another MVNO, this time from Vectone who piggyback off the EE network. There are several options available at the link above, but the most notable one, which costs just £10, will you get 30 days worth of unlimited calls, texts and data... but there is a catch (thus the asterisk in link text above.) Only the first 3GB of data used will be delivered at normal speed. After that, you will be throttled to 64 kilobits per second (8 kb/s), which isn't exactly ideal for most online tasks these days. Like a lot of internet based services, Netflix likes to keep tabs on where you have been and what content you view regularly. This helps them to recommend other things that you may be interested in. While this sounds great and indeed a handy feature, it can be a pain in the backside if you view something by accident or just try something different for a change . Before you know it you can find yourself with suggestions that are way off the mark for you and find it difficult to get things back on track. So, how do we remove the offending programs and it's associated suggestions? Just follow these three simple steps!

• Firstly log in to Netflix on your PC,  head to the right hand side and click the little red arrow to show the drop down menu. Select "User Account"

• Next Scroll down and head into the "Viewing activity section"

• You will then see a full list of your viewing activity. Here you can scroll through and remove anything that might be causing issues or even hide your Spongebob addiction.

Although it's a quick process to run through the list and remove unwanted items, Netflix do mention that it will take up to 24 hours for items to be removed from your activity on all devices.

Worrying news emerged yesterday, as it was discovered that network operator Three will be be introducing mid-contract price increases. All contracts that have been made from May 29th onwards will feature this price hike, with the first changes appearing on consumer bills in May 2016. The move goes against Three's stance from last year, where they stated that monthly rates would remain as they are for the duration of a contract.

Despite guidelines issued by OfCom last year which aimed to stop mid-contract hikes happening, there is in fact a clause included that allows for this to happen. It's all thanks to the Retail Price Index, which measures the change in the cost of a representative sample of retail goods and services. This is what Three will be basing their increases on, taking the RPI from February 2016 and applying it to all contracts in May later that year.

Considering how the takeover of O2 is going ahead, along with the recent report that consumers are paying millions more for their handsets than they need to, the future is looking rather expensive for Three customers. Let's just hope that this isn't also an uncomfortable glimpse at the future for customers with other networks as well, especially at a time where mobile contracts are continuing to fail us (courtesy of Bitter Wallet.)

After months of being told it would arrive at some point in the summer, Microsoft have official confirmed that Windows 10 will be launching on July 29th. As previously confirmed, anyone with a copy of Windows 7 or 8 will be able to upgrade to Windows 10 for free during the first 12 months of Windows 10's release. Additionally, it appears that users of Windows 8.1 are getting pop-ups allowing them to reserve their upgrade, which will be pushed to them as soon as it is available. If you haven't had it yet, don't worry - it will happen at some point today, but if you're really interested in forcing the pop-up to appear we've got a helpful way to do so. At long last GIFs have been integrated into Facebook! You can now post and view them using both the desktop and mobile sites, as well as the application. At the moment you can only add them if they are hosted elsewhere on the internet first, by copying and pasting the links into a status or comment box. If you try to upload directly from your computer you will find they become nothing more than a frozen image at the moment. Obviously with GIFs being a new addition to Facebook, things may change regarding  the direct uploads.

Of course this update can only mean one thing though, right? Prepare for never ending unrelated GIFs in the Facebook comments! I must admit, i have often had a good laugh at what some people manage to find! What's your favourite GIF?
